How to play
Every thread wants out
Each thread ends in an arrow. Tap it and the whole thread slides forward along its own route and leaves the board.
The way ahead must be clear
A thread can only leave if the straight lane in front of its arrow is empty all the way to the edge.
Blocked costs a life
Tap a thread whose way is blocked and it bumps into the piece in front of it. You have three lives per level.
Order is everything
Clearing one thread frees the lanes behind it. Work from the outside in and a locked board opens up.

How do you play Unthread?
Tap a thread's arrow to pull that thread off the board. A thread can only leave if the straight lane in front of its arrow is empty all the way to the edge. Tapping a blocked thread costs one of your three lives.
How many levels does Unthread have?
150 levels. Level 1 is a short tutorial; the last boards hold more than a hundred interlocking threads.
Is every level solvable?
Yes. Every board is constructed in reverse and checked by a solver before release, so a solution always exists.
Does Unthread work offline?
Yes. No account, no sign-in and no connection are needed to play. Your progress is stored on your device.
